Hourly invoice as PDF — from your time log to the client's inbox
If you bill by the hour, the invoice is just your time log with a rate applied. WorkTime already has the hours — so the invoice is one click, not an evening with a template.
The hours are already counted
Every session you logged in the chat is in the monthly journal. Review it, fix what needs fixing, and the totals by task and by day become the lines of the invoice.
What is on the invoice
- your requisites and the client's — saved once, reused every month
- VAT numbers of both parties where they apply
- the hourly rate as an invoice parameter, so the same month can be re-issued at a different rate
- automatic numbering and the currency you choose — rate in one currency, invoice in another
Sent from your own mailbox
WorkTime sends the PDF from your email, not from a no-reply address: you connect your mailbox once, edit the letter template and the client sees a message from you. A copy stays in your Sent folder, and the full invoice history is kept by year.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I check the invoice before it is sent?
- Yes. The PDF preview opens first; sending is a separate, confirmed step.
- The client pays in a different currency than my rate.
- Set the rate in your currency and issue the invoice in the client's — the amounts are converted for the invoice.
- Do I have to re-enter my details every month?
- No. Issuer and client details, including VAT numbers, are saved and reused; you only pick the period.
