Two characters instead of a timer

Write '+' when you start working and '−' when you finish. A short task name after the '+' tells the journal what the time was spent on:

That is the whole habit. Nothing to open, nothing to click, no form to fill in.

What the chat turns into

WorkTime pairs every '+' with its '−' into a work session and collects the month into a journal you can edit. From the journal it builds the reports:

hours by task — where the paid time actually went
hours by day — with days over 12 hours flagged for review
hours by person — for a team, with the cost of the month at each agreed rate

When you forget

Forgot the '−'? Fix the end time in the journal. Forgot the whole day? Write the moment with its date: '+ 05.08 09:30 task' and '− 05.08 18:10'. Standard days can be added in one step.
